If you are what you eat then it's
In the past 10 years it has been my experience that nutrition plays a vital role in our health. I feel the question we need to ask ourselves is...
Do I have deficiencies or a disease?
Nutritional value in our food has dramatically decreased over the last 50 years and processed foods and fast foods have become the standard North American diet.
My journey started when my daughter was five years old. She had been suffering from many ear infections and always had a runny nose. After being on seven bouts of antibiotics I was told in order to resolve the issue she needed her adenoids removed. I was told I had no options. Four weeks after her surgery she developed another ear infection. I was extremely frustrated. Luckily a friend of mine who was studying nutrition at the time suggested dietary changes. I thought she was crazy!
It took me 6 months to get my head wrapped around the fact that I was giving my daughter foods that were making her sick. Shortly after changing my daughters diet I could see tremendous results. Her runny nose completely cleared and so did the ear infections. It was then that I discovered my passion and went on to study nutrition and started to help others. I wanted people to know they had options.
